We are seeking to appoint a highly effective, motivated and enthusiastic teacher of Science. You would be joining a supportive, committed and experienced team who work hard to deliver innovative and enjoyable lessons across the age and ability range in this outstanding 11-18 school. You will assist and support the Team Leader for Science in further driving standards to ensure the progress is consistent across the key stages. 

The successful candidate will: 

  • Understand the requirements for high-quality teaching. 
  • Be able to teach all Sciences up to KS4 and a specialism up to KS5 
  • Be able to use ICT in all aspects of their work. 
  • Have excellent administration skills and an ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Have the ability to fulfil the requirements of a form tutor. 
  • Have good interpersonal skills. 
  • Have excellent communication skills and an ability to relate to people at all levels. 
  • Be a positive team player with a strong commitment to professional development 
  • Embrace new technologies and ideas that enhance learning 
  • Have the ability to deal sensitively with pupils, parents and colleagues. 
  • Be highly self-motivated
