Our rigorous behaviour system ensures teachers have the freedom to teach without disruption and our detentions are run centrally by the Leadership Team. We value teachers’ time and follow a streamlined assessment policy we call Closing the Gap (see our blog) so that teachers can plan responsively to the needs of the students in front of them rather than spending hours marking. We firmly believe that subject knowledge underpins good teaching and therefore support our staff to engage with research and further reading as part of ongoing CPD, renewing, refining and updating their expertise continually.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our supportive and happy Science team.

We are looking for a candidate who can teach Science from KS3-5. A Physics specialism would be particularly welcome, but not essential.

We teach a knowledge rich curriculum, using centralised knowledge booklets created and shared by our team.

We offer excellent lab facilities within our newly refurbished Science building, along with fantastic practical support from outstanding technicians.
