Swans International School in Marbella, Málaga is looking to recruit an inspiring Teacher of Science, for a one-year contract. Candidates should have experience of teaching from 11-16, particularly Biology to GCSE level and ideally with experience of A Level/IB. The successful candidate will form a part of our experienced and dynamic team. 

The department has achieved excellent results at both (I)GCSE and IB in recent years and has high expectations of all Swans students, in a truly international environment. Successful applicants will have a proven track record of providing a stimulating learning environment that engages all students to raise their attainment and inspires them with a love of learning.

 This could develop into a full-time position in the future for the right candidate. 

The school is well resourced with small class sizes and all staff members are given a Macbook to work on, with all classrooms set up with Apple TVs.

Requirements:


EU passport or Spanish residency (although UK passport holders will be considered)


PGCE or equivalent qualification in Education with QTS 


A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience is preferred but not essential


A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check
