Teacher of Science

MEA Central, an Altius Trust school, opened with 210 Year 7 students on September 2017 and now has three year groups and 630 students. Through high academic aspirations, an impressive culture and wide ranging extra-curricular opportunities, we develop students into articulate, active and respectful citizens, ready to go out and do good in the world. 

We are seeking to appoint two ambitious, enthusiastic and talented Teachers of Science who are able to obtain the best outcomes for our students. Teachers who are passionate about their subject and determined to impart knowledge, skills and understanding to all of our students, whilst exciting and engaging them in their learning.  The successful candidates will teach both KS3 and KS4. One role is for an Easter start and one role will be to start in September 2020.

The right candidates should:

• know that teachers make the difference and that that teaching and learning is the ‘main thing.’ 
• possess excellent communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults
• motivate and inspire students and colleagues to achieve exceptional outcomes

We welcome applications from experienced teachers or teachers new to the profession.  An NQT/teacher will receive the excellent support of our internal Academy CPD programme. You will join a very positive, willing and committed team who will challenge and support you.
