Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a full-time teacher of Science, preferably specialising in Biology, for a long term supply assignment at a large, forward thinking academy on the border of Chesterfield and Nottinghamshire. The position will require the teacher to plan and deliver engaging lesson content to KS3 and KS4 students.



The role

The role is a Maternity cover for 6 months, beginning immediately after February half term and running until the end of the academic year. The role is full time, so full availability Monday to Friday for this period would be required. The role will include teaching across all 3 Science disciplines to KS3, and teaching Biology to KS4. Recent experience of teaching Physics to GCSE level is therefore desirable.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Biology Teacher, you will:


• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching Biology up to GCSE level.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
