Job overview

Required for September 2018

Full Time Teacher of SCIENCE

We are looking to recruit an exciting teacher to join our Science Department. We want science to spark the creative imagination that “somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.” – Carl Sagan.  We are looking for a teacher who believes that too, and that therein lies the road to academic excellence for each student.  Nothing less will do.    This is an opportunity to work in a highly motivated, supportive, enthusiastic department that is committed to a collaborative, creative and stimulating approach to teaching and learning.   We have a fundamental desire to challenge children to achieve better and higher.  We don’t talk about a passion for teaching; what counts here is caring enough to actually make a life changing difference to the children of our town.  If this desire resonates with you, apply.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach their subject(s) at KS3, KS4 and KS5.

Netherhall School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks including an Enhanced DBS (CRB) check.
