About the School;
We are a growing 13-19 High School in an attractive, semi-rural location in South Staffordshire with over 750 students on roll and in the top 20% of schools nationally for outcomes.
All our teachers have been trained in visible learning and we are the first school in the country to have achieve the Visible Learning Partner School Award. The successful candidate will receive full training in this research-based learning approach.
We are seeking to appoint a Science teacher to cover maternity leave. The post will commence November 2021. This post could suit either an experienced teacher or someone starting their career.
Ideally, the role will include teaching Science at KS3, GCSE and possibly A-level across year groups 9 to 13. The successful candidate must be an outstanding, focused and motivated individual who can lead pupils to achieve, has passion for their subject and a desire to develop this in others.
Science is an extremely popular subject within the school and there are eight teachers within the department. Science is an outstanding department that achieves excellent examination results. The capability to motivate and inspire both students and teachers is vital, as well as being able to work as part of a strong team.
