Job overview
We require from June 2018 a motivated, committed and dynamic Teacher of Science to join this thriving and ‘Outstanding’ 11-18 Foundation school and department to cover a maternity leave. We expect that you will be able to teach Science across the KS3 and GCSE ability range. The ability to teach to A-level Chemistry is desirable but not essential for this post. This vacancy is for Maternity Leave, part-time (Two terms), 0.4-0.6 FTE.

Bishop Heber High School is a mixed, non-denominational comprehensive school with a sixth form, there are 1280 students on roll aged 11-18. It is situated in the picturesque village of Malpas. Location
Malpas is a large village placed deep in the south Cheshire countryside. There are several pubs in the village as well as good quality local shopping. Malpas also hosts a regular Farmers’ Market. If you are looking to explore, Malpas is a great base for sightseeing with Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales just a stone’s throw away. Practically on your doorstep is the famous city of Chester, you can reach the city in 30 minutes and explore all the historic sites.
