Hollingworth Academy is an established ‘Outstanding’ academy, with the aspiration and drive to become ‘World Class.’ In 2014 our pupils achieved excellent examination results which resulted in the Academy receiving an Education Outcomes Award from the SSAT and a Pupil Premium Award from the DFE. More recently we have been accredited as a Centre of Excellence for inclusion by IQM and were awarded ‘School of the Year’ by Skills for Business. Visitors always comment on our calm and purposeful learning environment.

We heavily invest in our staff with a wide range of professional learning opportunities, which include fully funded Masters Degrees, Teaching Leaders, PIXL and Prince’s Trust training and an extensive range of CPD opportunities throughout the year.

If you are a strong, energetic and forward thinking teacher with the capacity to build on the school’s many strengths; if you deliver consistently good to outstanding lessons; if you would like to be part of our innovative team, where you will have the opportunity to further develop your professional practice in a department which consistently produces outstanding results, then join us on our exciting journey.
