Job overview

Vision for Education are urgently seeking a Science Teacher to work in an Alternative Provision in South Tyneside. The School caters for Key Stage 3 and 4 students that have Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH). For the right person, the role will be long term, ongoing and could turn permanent at some point in 2020. 

Ideally, candidates will be experienced in working with challenging behaviour, as well as being able to quickly adapt and integrate into the school's culture and ethos. Applications would be welcomed from NQT’s and experienced teachers looking to move into SEN. The school is looking for someone with a positive and calming influence in what can often be a difficult environment. Personality is paramount in being able to empathise and connect with students and overcome their various barriers to learning.
