Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy is part of the Pax Christi Catholic Academy Trust where we work along with four partner primary Academies to deliver an education service which ensures that each learner achieves the very best that they can. Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join our Science Department in January. The role would be suitable for a newly qualified teacher or experienced teacher.
The department is committed to raising the profile of Science, stimulating all students’ interest and enthusiasm for the subject. Therefore we are seeking a candidate who will help us inspire students and be actively committed to innovative teaching and learning.

The successful candidate may be expected to teach all aspects of Science at KS3 and should state their subject specialism in their application.  All students follow GCSE courses at KS4, including separate Science GCSEs, and we offer all Science specialisms at A level.  An ability to teach A level Biology or Physics would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be forward thinking, committed to developing students confidence and want to work within a team that inspires and encourages students to develop a love of Science.
