Perryfields is a popular and successful 11-18 school with an excellent track record of ensuring that pupils achieve their potential at GCSE and A-level.  Our success is built on a foundation of quality teaching, good behaviour and positive relationships between staff, pupils and parents.  

Our Science Department is seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our friendly and forward looking team.  Currently, AQA Trilogy and Separate Science courses are offered at GCSE, with Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A-level.  We also run a thriving extra-curricular STEM Club.  

The successful candidate will be passionate about Science and committed to maximising students’ achievement through excellence in teaching and learning.  The ability to teach across the science disciplines at KS3 is essential, while the ability to teach at least two of Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE is desirable.  A management allowance may be available for a suitable candidate.  

Our new Science colleague will benefit from a thorough professional development programme and strong support within a collaborative department.  The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all members of staff to share this commitment.  The documents below must be read prior to applying for this role (available on the school website in the policies section) and will be factored into interviews:
