Job overview

Full Time Teacher of Science (Maternity Cover)

Required for January 2019

The Peterborough School achieves excellent results and is currently going through an exciting period of expansion and further development.

Science results, in particular, are a real strength of the School with 98% of students gaining an A or A* in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics in 2017.

The School is therefore seeking to appoint an ambitious, well-qualified and inspirational individual to join our team, for up to one years’ maternity cover, who will deliver high quality Science teaching up to A Level. The ability to teach Biology or Chemistry to A Level would be an advantage.

The School has its own salary scale and there is generous fee remission for staff children.

The Peterborough School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

More details are available from the School on hr@tpsch.co.uk or the School’s website.

Closing date: 24th October 2018
