Clyst Vale is a popular 11-18 Community College situated five miles from Exeter. Our recent Ofsted report (June 2015) rated the College as Good in all areas, and our results are consistently well above national averages. Our inclusive ethos, students’ excellent behaviour and recent improvements were noted by Ofsted, and we seek innovative and enthusiastic colleagues to raise standards further. Clyst Vale has specialisms in Science, Maths and Computing. 

TEACHER OF SCIENCE (Physics) - Required from 4th June 2018 for a period of 12 months, or less should the permanent member of staff return from Maternity Leave 

We can offer: 

- A positive experience of working within a friendly, successful and dynamic department. 

- Excellent working relationships with students and very good results. 

We are looking for: 

- The ability to teach all three Sciences at KS3 and KS4. 

- The ability to teach Physics ideally to A level 

- An outstanding teacher with excellent subject knowledge. 

- A practitioner who is keen to enthuse students of all abilities using a variety of approaches. 

- A willingness to use data to drive student performance and promote excellence.

Clyst Vale Community College is a mixed, non-denominational academy secondary school and sixth form for students aged 11-18. It is located in Broadclyst, near Exeter, in the county of Devon, and has about 900 pupils.

The academy is operated by the Clyst Vale Academy Trust and is specialist in science, maths and ICT.
