Baylis Court School is a popular and oversubscribed school for girls aged 11-18 in Slough, Berkshire. We are seeking to appoint, from April 2022, an exceptional Teacher of Science with a specialism of Physics, to join our fantastic community.

The successful candidate for this post of teacher of science will demonstrate commitment to their professional development, innovation in relation to their subject specialism as well as the ability to challenge students of different abilities to include the most able. They will be an outstanding classroom teacher in their career to date with evidence of successful teaching and a commitment to the wider life of a school.

Science is a high achieving and dynamic faculty. At A level, student achieve exceptionally well, with 67% of grades being A*-B. We are proud of our ALPS scores of 1 in Biology and 3 in Chemistry. At Baylis Court, students achieved Progress 8 scores of: Combined Science: 0.95, Biology: 1.01, Chemistry: 0.91 and Physics: 1.16.
