We require a committed colleague with a real passion for the provision of quality and imaginative teaching to join an experienced, supportive and high achieving Science Department (80% of students achieved a 5 or above in their Science GCSEs in 2018). We are looking to appoint a biologist, chemist or physicist. The ability to teach a second subject, not necessarily in science, is desirable.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach their subject specialism across the age and ability range up to A-Level. As a Teaching School we warmly welcome applications from ITT colleagues and we can offer the successful candidate excellent support and professional development.
The Willink is a high performing and oversubscribed school. In 2018 over 80% achieved the GCSE benchmark of 5+ grades 9-4 and 30% achieved A*/A at A level. The school has 1080 students on roll including 160 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading. The school’s Ofsted judgment in June 2018 was exceptionally strong.

About The Willink
The Willink is a mixed 11-18 community school with almost 1200 students on roll. We are the state school of choice for the local area and draw students from a wider region including Hampshire, Reading and Wokingham.
