Blessed Hugh Faringdon Catholic School is an oversubscribed, high performing, co-educational school of 870 pupils which includes a thriving Sixth Form of 130 students. Graded as "Good" by OFSTED and "Good with outstanding features" by the Diocese of Portsmouth.

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science to work alongside a forward thinking, supportive and motivated team who are committed to ensuring that each pupil achieves their very best. 

The Department have an exciting curriculum to engage pupils in the learning of Science and are continually working to raise attainment across all Key Stages.

We offer separate and double award at GCSE and all three Science disciplines at A Level, along with Level 3 BTEC in Applied Science. You will need to be able to teach General Science up to Key Stage 4 and ideally Chemistry or Physics to Key Stage 5. 

We are a Specialist Mathematics and Performing Arts College and part of the PiXL group of schools, whose aim is to promote student achievement through academic success. It’s an exciting time to join our school.
