About the role

We are looking to recruit a passionate and committed teacher of Science, who is able to plan and teach engaging lessons for our students. Through having the highest expectations, you will be able to continue to drive up standards of achievement, attainment and enjoyment for the subject, so that all students can make exceptional progress.

You will be committed to leading learning within the classroom, which has high quality teaching and learning at its’ heart. A strong desire to develop, within students a real interest in the subject, enthuse, motivate, and inspire generating within them a love of learning.

 The successful candidate will be: 

  • highly motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Passionate about learning and has a strong subject knowledge.
  • A committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to motivate both students and peers.
  • dedicated to setting high standards and expectations in student outcomes, behaviour, attendance and appearance, and to celebrate success and achievements.
  • Good communication skills as you will be a crucial point of contact between home and the Academy.
  • act as a role model to students so professionalism and confidentiality will be your key attributes.
