Job overview

We are looking to appoint a secondary Science teacher for our school in Valladolid with plenty of enthusiasm to inspire our students from Year 7 and beyond. The newly opened Bachillerato key stage provides an opportunity to shape the direction of the department. You'll join a cheerful, professional team at a well-resourced campus in the heart of the Castilla y León region of Spain. 

The post is from September, however an earlier start could be negotiated.


What We're Looking For


A qualified Science teacher with relevant teaching experience.


Ability to teach the Spanish National Curriculum from 1º ESO through Bachillerato


Ideally, familiar with the CIE IGCSE syllabus or clear willingness to learn. 


Certified level of written and spoken English (minimum C2 CEFR level or equivalent). 


Good team player, ready to cooperate with the Head of Department and Exams Officer on relevant module entries and related issues. 


Willing to take creative approaches to teaching Science, using a variety of teaching and assessment methods. 

Ability to engage and enthuse students


Is able to use positive reinforcement to manage behaviour


Able to successfully track student progress


Willing to contribute to the wider life of the school.


Confident level of Spanish (not essential).


You must have the automatic right to work in Spain.
