Tes is currently supporting a friendly and supportive SEN school, based in Shropshire. The school is looking to add a Teacher of Science to its progressive and supportive School Department.

They are looking for an experienced Science Teacher with SEMH experience to join their fantastic team. You will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.

"This independent school provides specialist education to children aged 5 - 19 years with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Providing a balanced and bespoke curriculum which will enable students the room to grow and develop into confident, creative and become well-rounded members of the community.

Specialist staff work with students to develop positive working relationships and to provide a cohesive, nurturing environment within which every individual can thrive.  Students will learn to celebrate success as well as hone the skills to adapt to change and learn from mistakes. This is a place where everybody is somebody and everyone works hard to achieve this aim."

The school is offering:

The school expects:

• A UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, BEd or MEd with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A relevant Science Degree or a related subject

• Experience in delivering Science up to GCSE pushing and engaging learners to progress within the subject

• A love and passion for education.
