Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for practical scientific endeavour, to join a progressive department housed in brand new, state-of the-art laboratories. All staff are expected to play a full role in the broader life of this school, described as 'stonking' (!) by Tatler Schools Guide 2016. Experience of teaching pupils from Year 5 to Year 8 and preparation for examinations up to CE, Scholarship and / or GCSE level would be an advantage.

This long-established and well-known preparatory school educates boys aged 3 to 13 (girls 3 to 4), preparing them for entrance and scholarship examinations to independent London day schools and boarding schools across the country. Re-branded in 2011, the school aims to challenge boys in their pursuit of excellence and to inspire each pupil to realise his full potential. Sport, Music and Art are encouraged to a high standard. There are many out-of-school activities, including a wide variety of holiday trips.
The main ages for entry are at three, four and seven years, with smaller entries at five and eight. There are occasional vacancies at other ages.
