Top Devon Academy seeks a Science Teacher to start January 2019.

Brixham College is seeking a well-qualified and inspiring colleague to join our high performing, successful Science team. We want the very best teachers who can consistently teach good or better lessons. You will be able to enthuse and motivate our students with your passion for Science and demonstrate creative teaching with a strong classroom presence.

Science is a high achieving subject with successful outcomes at Key Stage 4, leading to a strong uptake at Key Stage 5 where we offer all of the Sciences.

• For strong teaching and learning;
• Reporting how in Science ‘students are given complex tasks that challenge them to extend their thinking’;
• ‘Students’ rates of progress are increasing as a consequence’.

We are interested in applications from teachers who will be able to continue to raise levels of achievement within our highly successful Science Faculty, who have excellent subject knowledge of Science at KS3, KS4 and with experience or interest to develop at KS5.
