Star International School Mirdif is a bespoke British Curriculum School situated in the Mirdif Community of Dubai offering EYFS, Primary and Secondary Education. We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Science who has the enthusiasm, commitment, and energy needed to work in a rapidly growing and improving school. The role would be from August 2023.


The Post

This is an exciting time to join Star International School Mirdif with the launch of the 6th form in 2023/2024. We have grown rapidly over the past 4 years of the Secondary school being launched and are moving towards a 3-form entry in the next academic year. The rapid growth of the school also means that further leadership opportunities may be available for the right candidates.

With the launch of Post-16 we need a successful candidate to have the ability to offer A-Level Science. An Ability to teach Biology/Physics to at least IGCSE/GCSE is an advantage. 

Applications are welcomed from teachers who have a creative approach to curriculum delivery, and who put the children first. High standards, flexibility and a commitment to developing the whole child are essential. You will need to be self-motivated, have a positive ‘can-do attitude and be able to work well as part of a team.
