Job overview

Required for 1 September 2018, a well-qualified and enthusiastic full-time teacher of Science to teach across the full age and ability range. It would be an advantage if candidates could offer Physics to A Level.  Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage in their career; also from newly qualified teachers, for whom the school runs a comprehensive induction programme.  

William Farr is a popular, oversubscribed, rural comprehensive school with Science College status. In the 2006 OFSTED inspection the school was judged to be outstanding, and our 2009 inspection confirmed this remarkable achievement.  The school gained academy status in 2011 and has approximately 1500 students on roll.
