Job overview

An opportunity is available for a secondary Science teacher with a specialism in either Physics or Biology, to work in a premiere Bilingual International school located near Oxford Circus and Regents Park in central London, UK. This is a growing private, international school set in a beautiful Georgian building in the heart of London. The school uses a French curriculum that is delivered in both French and English. This year you will be teaching GCSE and moving into the IB diploma form next year. This role requires the applicant to deliver the lessons in English only.

The academic curriculum has been developed for parents who want their children to succeed in a bilingual educational system, where children's individuality and independence are nurtured, while simultaneously being challenged in a rigorous academic programme that allows them to learn other languages and gain a global perspective on the world through the study of other cultures. Their aim is for our students to become true citizens of the world.

L'Ecole Internationale Franco-Anglaise combines the best of both French and English cultures: the rigor of French curriculum and the English emphasis on independent thinking, arts and sports along with small class sizes, which allow teachers to work closely with each child. The educational environment sustained by qualified teachers who have extensive experience teaching abroad offering an academic bilingual programme with an international perspective.

EIFA's building is a stunning Georgian terraced house, in Portland Place, which is equidistant from the bustle of the Oxford Circus shopping district and the peaceful beauty of Regents Park. Classrooms are well equipped and class sizes are very small to give the students individualised attention, producing top results.
