Teacher of Science

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and committed teacher to join our effective, hardworking and supportive Science Department from September 2021 for one academic year. A specialism in either Physics or Chemistry would be advantageous. 

You will be able to display high standards of teaching and learning in order to enthuse and engage our students and support them in making excellent progress. 

The successful candidate will teach science in Key Stage 3, and Physics or Chemistry to GCSE, and will be joining a supportive, committed and experienced team who work hard to deliver innovative and enjoyable lessons whilst securing excellent examination outcomes. We are looking for an academically able and enthusiastic teacher who is willing to be involved in and contribute to the wider life of the College.

If you join as an NQT you will be part of an established and extensive NQT programme, benefiting from the support and expertise of mentors including Lead Practitioners. All teachers are able to continue developing their pedagogy through accessing our SSAT and TEEP training programmes, and to benefit from collaborations with Clifton diocese, local schools and the international network of Lasallian schools.

The college is located in West Wiltshire, within an easy commute of the cities of Bath and Bristol.
