We are currently seeking to appoint a Science teacher, 3 days a week, who has excellent subject knowledge, new ideas, enthusiasm and a desire to be an outstanding practitioner. With subject specialism in Chemistry or Physics (able to teach the subject from KS3-5) and the ability to teach all 3 subjects at KS3, you will join a dynamic, innovative and successful Science faculty which achieves excellent outcomes.
Norwood is a good school with many outstanding features. GCSE Science exam results are above local and national averages with many students choosing to study Science at A Level and beyond. In a Year 9 mathematics lesson, rapid learning activities with regular assessment meant students quickly developed the confidence to apply the skills of expanding brackets to a variety of problems.
