The School is looking to appoint a Teacher of Science, with possible 2 i/c for a September 2018 start who will join and strengthen the department. This role is suitable for an NQT or an experienced teacher.

To be successful, you need to be a qualified teacher who has outstanding subject knowledge and is passionate about your subject. You should also possess the ability to teach consistently at an outstanding level - we want to appoint someone who can motivate our students in the subject.

Students at St Thomas More receive the highest quality of science education and are able to understand the world through a range of scientific disciplines. Students are actively encouraged to develop a sense of excitement, interest and curiosity about natural phenomena and the world around them.

Science is the top performing department at St Thomas More and is a dynamic and successful one. The department has dedicated teaching rooms each equipped with an interactive whiteboard. We value the innovative use of ICT to enhance the teaching and learning of Science.
