About RGS Dodderhill

Introduction - The Royal Grammar School, Dodderhill is one of the leading independent girls’ day schools in the West Midlands. The school was founded in 1945 as the senior girls' school of Whitford Hall, a well-established prep school located in Bromsgrove. In April 2019, Dodderhill Independent Girls School merged with RGSW (The Royal Grammar School Worcester) and became known as RGS Dodderhill.

Our School - RGS Dodderhill is a very special and unique school that provides a girls’ only education within a secluded, tranquil setting. Our Nursery provides a Co-educational environment for boys and girls ages 2+. We maintain an exclusive small school environment that allows girls to grow up at their own pace whilst receiving a first class education from our highly qualified and dedicated staff. The small class sizes allow staff to get to know every child inside and out as well as ensuring that every child’s needs are catered for.

Across the four schools, in the family of RGSW schools, we share a mission to inspire high academic standards and promote co-curricular opportunities. RGS Dodderhill is a very happy school for both pupils and staff members.

Traditional values and manners co-exist with a forward thinking school that embraces the best of modern technology and teaching to ensure that when our girls leave us, they are outstanding young women, fully equipped for the changes of the 21st Century.

Our Vision - Educating girls for future success.

Our Mission - To provide an environment that allows our girls to develop a love of learning and facilitate their development into confident young women.
