Millthorpe is a successful 11 - 16 comprehensive which aspires to be an outstanding school, situated near to the centre of the beautiful, historic city of York.    

We wish to appoint an excellent and highly motivated classroom teacher, who will contribute to the continued development of this successful department.  Candidates should have a proven record or the promise of outstanding practice and will be expected to teach across the age and ability range.  Our Science GCSE results are excellent and we offer both Triple and Double Science.
