Hartland International School seeks to appoint an exceptional and dynamic, well-qualified Secondary Teacher of Physical Education to join a small and growing Physical Education team.

Located in the heart of Dubai, in a developing residential community, Hartland’s unique vantage point is the iconic landmark of the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Mall and Downtown Business area of the city. The school will operate from Foundation Stage to Year 10 and anticipates natural year on year growth in the secondary section in the coming years. We offer the National Curriculum for England and plan to offer GCSE’s / IGCSE’s, ‘A’ Levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

At this time, we are looking to appoint an exceptional teacher of Physical Education who has experience of teaching at examination level in a Secondary setting. The post may involve teaching in the Primary school as well as the Secondary section. The successful candidate will join an experienced and committed PE staff team. They will operate in a school where the sports facilities are of a high standard to ensure the highest quality of delivery. There is a very strong enrichment programme and the successful candidate will be expected to make a significant contribution to this and its future development.

The successful candidate will:
Hold a relevant honours degree, (BA with PGCE / PGDE and QTS or equivalent)
Have experience of teaching the National Curriculum for England whether that be in the UK or in an international setting
Demonstrate a clear and practical knowledge how to raise attainment and progress and the use of data to support excellence
Have a minimum 3 years’ teaching experience.
Have exceptional communication skills
