We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to work closely with our SENCo and Assistant SENCo to provide in-class, specialist support and enhance outcomes for students with SEND.
You will be a key addition to our highly experienced Academic Support Team, who welcome forward-thinking initiatives and offer support and professional development opportunities in a friendly, positive and creative environment. As part of this team, your work has the power to transform life opportunities for those who need it most.
* A TLR 2 payment is available for additional responsibility and this post could be the ideal springboard for an aspiring SENCo.
You will be:
- an outstanding classroom practitioner, with a demonstrable interest in and understanding of SEND
- passionate about providing every young person with the support and skills to make concerted progress
- a dedicated, hard-working and flexible individual, who shares our vision of high expectations and our drive to achieve excellence
- someone with a high level of emotional intelligence

You will have:
- a varied teaching timetable, working across the KS3 and KS4 age range, to include: Study Skills; Entry Level; Life Skills; ASDAN and mainstream teaching.

Our Thurston Campus, for students from Year 7 - Year 11 is situated four miles east of Bury St Edmunds.
