The successful candidate would teach Sociology for at least ¾ of their timetable.
The Quest Humanities team is very strong and delivers consistently high standards - at both GCSE and A-Level. The Faculty is well established and an area of excellent practice - it is a fantastic place to accelerate the development of your own teaching skills, and share ideas on what makes outstanding learning. About The Quest Academy
The Quest Academy opened in 2010 and is part of The Collegiate Trust.
We opened our sixth form, Quest6 in 2012 and moved into stunning new buildings in 2014, providing the very best facilities for our staff and students.
We are a very successful Academy. We have doubled in size since we opened, are regularly oversubscribed and achieve excellent results in all key stages.
The professional development of our staff is paramount to us. A significant proportion of our leaders, including SLT, have been with us since the beginning of their careers and have benefitted from the career progression available.
All staff are allocated an extra 1 hour of non-contact time each week which is designated exclusively to develop teaching pedagogy. All staff participate in the Professional Development Programme which is specific to the needs of individual teachers.
We have created a purposeful campus where we work hard and work together to achieve excellence inside and outside of the classroom, valuing academic achievement and personal growth.
We look forward to receiving applications from those who want to join our journey.
