Teacher of Sociology

Sociology specialism required, but an ability to contribute to Criminology or other Social Science courses is desirable

Salary scale – new Sixth Form College
Pay Spine Point 1-9 dependent on experience

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual who has drive, energy and enthusiasm to deliver outstanding Social Science teaching in post-16 education.

We currently have a vacancy for a teacher of Sociology but we are also interested to hear from teachers who feel they could contribute to the delivery of Criminology or other Social Science subjects. An ability to contribute to both our A Level and Level 2 curriculum would also be desirable

Our expectations of our students are high. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to inspire and motivate students to achieve as well as be committed to raising standards in the college on our journey to becoming an outstanding institution.
