Teacher of Sociology

Arthur Mellows is an Ofsted Outstanding school located in the village of Glinton on the outskirts of Peterborough.  The school is very successful and oversubscribed with 1,680 students aged 11-18, supported by a talented and hard-working staff.  Students are well behaved and committed learners.  Behaviour is excellent and students are keen to learn.

We are seeking to appoint a highly committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Sociology who has the ability to teach AQA Sociology at A Level.   The ability to teach a second subject is desirable, but not essential.  Staff are friendly and supportive and committed to ensuring all students achieve their potential.  

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher.  The position would suit an NQT or an experienced classroom teacher.  This is a real opportunity to make a difference with our highly motivated student body.
