Vision for Education are looking to recruit a Teacher of Sociology on behalf of a client school in Sunderland, who have officially been awarded ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school has held a 99% pass rate for the past seven years and have an impressive number of students securing places at top universities including Oxford, Cambridge and Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and Laine Theatre Arts. 

You will be required to teach Sociology to Key Stage 5 and experience in this is essential. The role will include planning and assessment and you will be working in a forward thinking department who value and implement the schools values into their teaching. Successful candidates must hold a recognised teaching qualification and have experience of working within a school. NQT's and experienced teachers are welcome and encouraged to apply.

The position is part-time and will start Monday 4th September 2017, and is ongoing. 

The salary for this position will be between £105 and £196.15 per day depending on experience.
