Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher of Spanish and French to join our dynamic and forward thinking MFL Faculty. The chosen candidate will teach a range of groups from Year 7 to 11, French up to Year 9 and Spanish up to Year 11. Knowledge of the new GCSE and KS3 curriculum and a passion for teaching languages are attributes we are looking for in candidates who wish to apply for this post. The successful candidate will join a large and supportive faculty, with a focus on innovation and sharing good practice. We aim to inspire our students and monitor progress thoroughly to ensure every student achieves their potential in languages.
Responsibilities will include to follow Schemes of Learning to plan and deliver lessons for a range of Key Stages, using data provided. Set and mark home learning following Faculty and School’s marking policy and assess progress. Reporting to HoF as well as parents at key points in the year, and share good practice.
