If the answer to these questions is YES then we can offer you an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join our MFL Department

There has never been a better time to join Lostock College. Our school is expanding and we are becoming a first-choice education provider for families across Trafford and beyond. As a result, we are looking to expand our MFL department and you will join a dynamic team with a singular vision: to improve MFL education for all. We pride ourselves on engaging pupils, making learning exciting and rewarding, and on our tenacity. You will join a strong team of individuals who are committed to improving life chances for young people, and who believe in preparing pupils not just for exams, but for life.

Lostock College is gaining a reputation for excellence in education. We want all of our students to achieve their potential and we make sure that there are no limitations or barriers to reaching the highest possible standards of academic, social and personal development. Lostock College is the only Church of England Affiliated School in Trafford and is a key partner in the Alliance for Learning Teaching School (lead by Altrincham Grammar School for Girls).

We have a hugely talented and committed staff team who make sure that our curriculum, guidance, care and support meets the different needs of every young person, and we pride ourselves on having high expectations. Our students are well organised, supportive of each other and keen to do well.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher who has a true passion for Langauges. A full programme of training will be provided, so NQTs are welcome to apply. Experience of teaching across Key Stage Three and Four is essential, and knowledge of the new curriculums in MFL would be an advantage. The department is dynamic and forward thinking, and eager to see pupils succeed. The post would be ideal preparation for a future department leadership position.

You may be a new teacher or an experienced one, and we will be looking for commitment to improving life chances for young people, as well as commitment to your own professional development. You will be well supported by the Senior Leadership Team who are focused on teaching and learning, and by a comprehensive programme of induction and training to ensure your individual needs are met. Our school is a lively and exciting place to work. We truly live by our motto of Inspire, Transform, Succeed.

We are totally dedicated to providing the very best opportunities for our students to ensure that we inspire confidence, transform learning and succeed to compete with the best.
