Teacher of Spanish

Teachers Pay Scale (MPS/UPS), permanent. 

This post can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.

We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and forward thinking colleague to join our hard working Modern Foreign Languages department. 

The successful candidate will be an inspirational and dynamic teacher who is highly motivated, has a passion for languages, and has excellent interpersonal skills. 

You will be a qualified teacher of Spanish able to deliver Spanish at Key Stage 3 to 5, ideally with the ability to teach French as a second subject.  A commitment to support extra-curricular activities and the desire to work well as a member of a team are essential attributes.

Our School

The Queen Katherine School is situated on the edge of the stunning Lake District; we are an 11-18 Academy with approximately 1000 students. The school was rated Good by Ofsted in March 2022. Our results reflect the school’s incredible success: top 7% in the country for A level (grades A-B) and top 25% for Progress 8 at GCSE. We have fantastic facilities all located on one, large site providing a vibrant and healthy learning space.
