We require a well-qualified, dynamic and inspiring Teacher of Languages to join an innovative and successful department committed to high achievement.  Both French and Spanish is taught at the school and the ability to teach at least one of these is essential. You will be joining a strong department which teaches French and Spanish within tiered groups.  The post is ideal for an NQT or an experienced teacher wishing to pursue their career in a successful Teaching school with an excellent reputation.

About Valentines High School

Valentines High School is a non-denominational, co-educational secondary school with sixth form in Ilford, Essex. Its motto translates from Latin as "in harmony, achieving excellence". There are approximately 1,291 students on the school roll. The school is proud of its diversity, with 78% of pupils speaking English as an additional language. 

Valentines High School has been a Teaching School since 2011. This status allows the school to offer professional development to other schools in the area, as well as providing high-quality training for its own staff. Founded in 1901, the school opened a new sixth-form centre in 2007.
