Teacher of Special Educational Needs (ASD)

The Cumberland School is a large and popular community school in East London. We are looking for a teacher to teach in our Resource Provision for students with ASD  from September. We would like to appoint someone who is passionate about working with young people with autism and enjoys teaching. 

We offer excellent staff support and leadership development, good career progression opportunities and a friendly and dedicated approach to school leadership.  

We are a forward-thinking school that has dispensed with formal lesson observations, retrospective book marking and written student exam reports whilst maintaining very high standards of care and outcomes. Behaviour is good and the students are keen to progress and are used to working hard.
