Job overview

The Cumberland School is a large and popular community school in East London. We would like to appoint someone who is passionate about their subject and enjoys teaching.

You will ideally have experience with ASD level 4, assessment of SEND students' progress, creating bespoke schemes of work/lessons which challenge all students delivery of life skills programmes, ASDAN or similar, annual reviews and EHCP applications  and SCERTS support or similar

We offer excellent staff support and leadership development, good career progression opportunities and a friendly and dedicated approach to school leadership.

We are a forward-thinking school that has dispensed with formal lesson observations, retrospective book marking and written student exam reports whilst maintaining very high standards of care and outcomes. Behaviour is good and the students are keen to progress and are used to working hard.

We prefer candidates who are organised, friendly, and who possess a positive work ethic. Having a few good ideas is always welcome.

If you join us you will be part of a structured, committed and hardworking team that will look after you and help you progress in your career.

Please visit our website http://www.cumberlandcst.org/vacancies for more information. Your application is a direct application to the CST.
