Teacher of Technology | Required for September 2020

Due to high popularity in the subject we are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to join our highly popular and successful technology team. We have invested substantially in the DT department over recent years and offer a rejuvenated DT block with excellent teaching and learning facilities across all design specialisms. 

This post would be ideal for someone who has a real enthusiasm for technology and is looking for experience in teaching very able pupils; the ability to confidentially teach design technology at KS5 is essential. 

The appointed candidate will be well-motivated and passionate about their subject with an ability to inspire students of all ages to excel. 

All DT specialists are welcome and encouraged to apply and for the right candidate there may be an opportunity to introduce design engineering at KS5 if desired, however this is not an essential requirement for the post. 

The successful candidate will;

 join a highly successful department with excellent results

 teach very able students

 teach Design Technology Y7 to U6 (including GCSE and A-level)

 contribute to the school’s vibrant extra-curricular programme
