Design & Technology Teacher
Required for January 2021 or as soon as possible
Situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park and close by the historic Furness Abbey, Chetwynde School is a co-educational Free School for children aged 4-16 with a reputation for excellent academic results, pastoral system and high sporting standards.
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and hardworking professional who combines excellent organisational and teaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students within the Senior School.
We offer:
• GCSE Design & Technology : AQA
• Cambridge National Level 1/2 Engineering : OCR
• The successful candidate will also teach A level 3D Design/Product
Design : AQA in collaboration with the nearby Barrow Sixth Form
College.
To be considered for the role of D&T Teacher, you will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of
teachers.
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver
inspiring DT lessons.
