Bishop Barrington School have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Technology to join our team in 2021. A specialism in food would be an advantage but not essential. We are looking for an outstanding, committed and motivated qualified teacher to contribute to the development of teaching and learning and curriculum. This is an ideal opportunity for a classroom practitioner who can display a real passion for developing and inspiring the students in their care. If you have the potential to become an outstanding teacher and the desire to inspire a love for your subject then we would like to hear from you.

A £10 million new school building was completed and opened in September 2020 resulting in an outstanding learning environment offering state of the art facilities. There are floodlit, LTA standard, tennis courts and sports facilities that are second to none. Located in the heart of the historic town of Bishop Auckland situated 12 miles northwest of Darlington and 12 miles southwest of Durham City, Bishop Barrington School is easily accessible via road or public transport networks. It is also within comfortable driving distance of affordable housing and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
