 We are looking for a Teacher of Design Technology at Nunthorpe Academy. (Temporary 2 terms)

 Teacher of Design Technology

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well-qualified teacher of Technology to contribute to the development of a strong and effective department.

We are a large, experienced and established faculty with 7 full time and 3 part time teachers; one full time Faculty Support Assistant and two full time technicians.

The faculty offers Design Technology, Textiles and Food at KS3. GCSE AQA Design Technology, and Food Preparation and Nutrition. Child Development OCR Cambridge National, BTEC Tech Award In Engineering and Health and Social Care. At KS5, the faculty offers AQA A Level Design Technology and BTEC Nationals in Health and Social Care . 

Required from: January 2020 this position is offered for 2 terms in the first instance

Salary MPS / UPS 

The successful candidate will:

The applicant must have a Design Technology specialism and the energy and commitment to teach students of all ages and abilities up to KS4, and possibly including A-Level. 

The successful candidate will have the ability and potential to deliver consistently outstanding lessons, for the achievement of every student in their care.

Nunthorpe Academy is part of Nunthorpe Multi Academy Trust (NMAT). 

Nunthorpe Academy is a mainstream, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough, and has over 1600 students.
