We wish to appoint a well-qualified Teacher of Theology to join our successful department. All students study theology up to GCSE and the opportunity to explore major world religions is highly prized within our diverse school community. The department offers two popular A Level courses in Theology and Philosophy of Religion, and Philosophy in our sixth form. At GCSE pupils study ‘Belief in Action’ examining religious beliefs relating to sexuality, conflict and cosmology. KS3 students study a wide range of topics ranging from the question of identity in modern Judaism to the development of New Religious Movements and cults. The department organises trips to various centres of worship in London, including the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir and Regent’s Park Mosque.
