We are looking for a Teacher of Travel and Tourism to join us on a full-time and temporary basis until July 2021.

You will work closely with management, colleagues and students to ensure success for both college and students. You will deliver specific programmes that focus on music in line with our prospectus and contributing to our aims and objectives. You will work towards successful outcomes for students and provide a positive overall experience at the college.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in teaching Travel and Tourism to help shape the future of Cadbury College. You will need to demonstrate that you have excellent interpersonal skills and will work effectively both independently and as part of a team with colleagues, students, and internal, and external stakeholders.

An academic background in Travel and Tourism is preferred along with a recognised teaching qualification, (L5 or above). We will also consider someone who is willing to work towards obtaining this qualification. You will be capable of sharing your knowledge and experience with our students in an engaging and informative manner. Teaching experience is desirable, but we are looking for someone with the confidence to share their experience and knowledge with our students

Values and vision

Cadbury Sixth Form College sees the educational experience it provides as very different to that that one would experience at school. Students are given greater freedom and are expected take responsibility for their own learning. However, as at school, the college aims to ensure a watchful eye is kept on students’ performance and regular contact with parents is valued.

The college prides itself on having high expectations of its learners, not just in academic performance, but in the way that they conduct themselves and develop personally. They are expected to exemplify an ethos of mutual respect, positive encouragement, and participation.
