E-ACT Burnham Park Academy is an inclusive and aspirational Academy based in the Buckinghamshire town of Burnham, easily accessible from the M4 motorway network and with excellent public transport links from / to London and the surrounding area. Our learning and recreational facilities are designed to inspire students and staff alike. We are entering an exciting, positive time of change for the Academy and have embarked on a journey to raise attainment, lift aspirations and improve outcomes for all of the young people in our community. This rapid progress focuses on improved teaching and learning and creating a positive impact on the behaviour of students.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Humanities (History / Geography) who will share our commitment to raising standards, expectations and instilling a passion for learning for all. The post is equally suitable for an NQT as well as experienced teachers and offers an excellent opportunity to receive support through our comprehensive NQT and CPD programme which will be delivered in partnership with E-ACT’s Heartlands Academy located in the West Midlands.

About The E-ACT Burnham Park Academy

The E-ACT Burnham Park Academy is a mixed, non-denominational secondary academy school for pupils aged 1-19. It is located in Slough and Burnham, with the campus transcending Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. It has about 600 pupils.

The school is sponsored by E-ACT, formerly known as  EduTrust Academies Charitable Trust, which sponsors more than 20 academies and free schools in England.

The E-ACT Burnham Park Academy describes its vision as aiming to provide “a world class education that is unique and personalised”. The school is committed to delivering teaching that is inspirational, and which develops confident learners who are proud of their achievements and ready to take ownership of their learning.
