We are looking for teachers to join us at one of our Trust schools. The South Orpington Learning Alliance (SOLA) consists of six schools who work closely together and are committed to providing an excellent education for local children. Our schools share a vision, but the settings vary – ranging from a large Primary School to small village schools, and including specialist provisions within three of our schools. We want our schools to not only be the choice for local parents, but also for staff.

To find out more about SOLA, our vision and our schools please see our website: http://www.solamat.co.uk .  Successful applicants will be appointed to one of our schools. We want teachers who have the potential to be excellent. They should be aspirational, positive, passionate, and dedicated. Creativity, a sense of urgency and a good sense of humour would also be valuable characteristics, and we expect a commitment to the ethos and aims of the Trust.

We offer:

• Close support and mentoring from experienced colleagues;

• Wonderful children to work with;

• Opportunities to work closely with staff in a range of settings;

• Opportunities for professional development and promotion within a large, but close-knit  organisation

To find out more, you would be most welcome to visit us. This can be arranged with Mrs Linda Vineall, the CEO’s PA, via email: linda.vineall@tubbenden.bromley.sch.uk or telephone: 01689 851653.

The closing date for applications is Friday 22 June 2018. Interviews will be held the following week.

SOLA is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  Any offer of appointment for post is subject to good references and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Applications  Please apply by using the following link https://recruitment.bromley.gov.uk/wrl/ to see a further advertisement and to access the Application Form. Using the Job Description and Person Specification, explain why, in no more than 500 words, you would particularly suit the position.  If you have not been contacted within one week of the closing date, your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.
